EXCELLENT ABSORPTION & SOOTHING EFFECT
Non-adherent dressings are soft and highly absorbent to reduce the risk of infection and minimize dressing changes. Alginate and CMC allow the dressing to absorb wound drainage, while maintaining an optimal moisture balance to aid in the formation of granulation tissue and epithelialization. Cool, soothing effect of gelling action enhances patient comfort.

WOUND HEALING
The EDTA in the collagen dressing removes zinc to inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases (MMP), thus creating a suitable environment for wound healing. Formulated with collagen to help control the buildup of bacteria, reducing occurrences of wound infection by layering a barrier between wounds and surrounding bacteria while promoting the spread of antimicrobial agents.
